Anyone that looks out the window can see that the winter season has struck the lakeshore area a little early this year.
We reached out to Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner Marc Holsen, and he told SeehaferNews.com that his crews are out and about, cleaning up the roads. He also said most roads are in good driving condition, however, an occasional slippery stretch could be encountered this morning until pavement temperatures climb above freezing. Commuters should give themselves a few extra minutes this morning to account for the potential for slippery roads.
The National Weather Service says that the lakeshore will be under a winter weather advisory until 3:00 this afternoon, with a total of about an inch and a half of snow expected to accumulate.
