The mandatory sentence will be life in prison when a Portage County man is sentenced next month. Jason Sypher was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of his wife, Krista. She went missing in March 2017 and her body has never been found. The Stevens Point jury deliberated for less than two hours before finding Sypher guilty Wednesday.
