240 Platteville Students Evacuated Due To Tuesday Gas Leak

Almost 240 students at the Neal Wilkins Early Learning Center in Platteville were evacuated Tuesday morning when a gas leak was discovered.  Buses took those students to Westview Elementary School while the leak was repaired by fire crews and maintenance workers.  No injuries or sicknesses were reported.  The work took several hours, so the students from the Center ate lunch at Westview.
