Running back Aaron Jones caught seven passes for 159 yards and two scores as his Green Bay Packers took a 31-24 decision at Kansas City Sunday night. Jones rushed for another 67 yards.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers connected on 23 of his 33 pass attempts and threw for 305 yards, and 3 touchdowns, including one that he threw while being tackled. That pass connected with Jamal Williams in the corner of the end zone.
The Chiefs were playing without league M-V-P Patrick Mahomes, but reserve Matt Moore was an efficient 24 of 36 for 267 yards and a pair of scoring passes.
Green Bay is 7-and-1 at the halfway point of the season and will play next week at Los Angeles against the Chargers.
