The Wisconsin State Patrol says a 33-year-old driver, taken into custody in Fond du Lac for his fifth O-W-I offense, had four children in his mini-van at the time. The man’s name hasn’t been released. He had just been involved in a traffic accident with two other vehicles when a trooper noticed he seemed to be impaired. He and several of the children in the mini-van were taken to a hospital for treatment, but their medical conditions haven’t been released.
