The Manitowoc County Historical Society will hold a Hungry for History Speaker Series program on the history of the Evergleam Aluminum Christmas Tree on November 7 at 5:30 pm at the Holiday Inn- Manitowoc (4601 Calumet Avenue).
Joe Kapler, Curator at the Wisconsin Historical Society, will provide a history of the Evergleam Aluminum Christmas Tree produced by the Aluminum Specialty Company of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The Aluminum Specialty Company became the largest manufacturer of these trees, popular in the 1960s.
The program is part of the Society’s Hungry for History series with a meal following the program. Doors will open at 5 pm for the program. The presentation will begin at 5:30 pm with a meal to follow. If you have dietary restrictions, please note that when placing your reservation to attend the program.
