Bayside Middle School Student Accused Of Threatening Comments

Bayside police are investigating reports about a 13-year-old middle school student who allegedly made comments about wanting to shoot people at his school.  Because of his age, the student’s name hasn’t been released.  A friend of the suspect alerted school administrators about his comment two weeks ago.  He reportedly said he was “going to shoot the place up” so they wouldn’t have to go to class.  He is also accused of waving a handgun while talking on FaceTime, saying, “This is for the French teacher tomorrow,” though nothing happened.
