
His 2019 season was cut short, but Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich has been named this year’s National League winner of the Hank Aaron Award. One winner is picked in each league for being the most outstanding offensive performers. Yelich had 44 home runs, 97 runs batted in and 30 stolen bases. He led the N-L with a .329 batting average and a 7.3 offensive WAR. Yelich led both leagues with a .671 slugging percentage and an O-P-S of 1.100.
