Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Planned for Halvorsen Dog Park

The Halvorsen Park Dog Park is ready for use, and the City of Manitowoc has planned a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting ceremony to make it official. The event will take place on Saturday from Noon to 2:00 PM at the park located at 3110 Mero Street in Manitowoc. Local dog-related business vendors and non-profit organizations will be participating with treat samples, items for sale, and information about their businesses and services. The City of Manitowoc will be on hand to issue temporary dog licenses to those who wish to license their dog on Saturday. Paperwork from the veterinarian’s office showing an up to date rabies vaccination expiration date is required in order to register.
