
Manitowoc Police took a 38-year-old man into custody for his connection to the death of another individual. The victim was found dead in his residence in the 1100 block of Fairmont Lane on July 30th, with drugs and drug paraphernalia found throughout the residence. Through their investigation, police came in contact with a man, who told officers the victim was into heroin. During their conversation on August 1st, the suspect admitted that he sold some to him. Police could not arrest the suspect at that time, because they were waiting on the results of the autopsy of the victim. Fast forward to Monday, and the results came back from the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s office. The cause of death was redacted from the police report, but it did say that police arrested the suspect, after a short chase. The man is now facing charges of 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide, and Possession of Marijuana.
