DNA Evidence Used To Identify Killer In 1984 Death Of Woman In Town Of Grafton

The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office says D-N-A evidence was used to identify the killer of an 18-year-old woman in cold case dating back to 1984.  Traci Hammerberg was found partially naked and beaten to death in the driveway of a home in the Town of Grafton.  Investigators say Phillip Cross was 21 when he committed the crime.  Cross died seven years ago of a drug overdose.
