Bail is set at $50,000 cash for a 38-year-old Manitowoc man accused in contributing to the death of a 50-year-old Manitowoc man this summer. Christopher B. Seefeldt is charged with Second Degree Reckless Homicide and Possession of Marijuana. Troy Duckett was found dead July 30th in his home on Fairmont Lane by police with drugs and drug paraphernalia throughout the home. During their investigation authorities were informed that Duckett was “into heroin”. When speaking to Seefeldt he admitted he sold some to the victim. Results of an autopsy came back this week and revealed that Duckett had “multiple drugs” including heroin and a small amount of alcohol in his system. Police then had enough evidence to take Seefeldt into custody which they did Tuesday after a short foot chase. The lone condition of bail is that Seefeldt report to the Manitowoc Police Department for photos and prints upon release. He remains in the County Jail with his initial appearance scheduled for next Monday at 1:30.
