A 38-year-old man is in legal trouble after he allegedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend from her workplace. The victim’s co-workers told police that Luis Angel Cardona was waiting in the parking lot of her work for her when she arrived, which was already illegal because she had filed a restraining order against him. A co-worker saw them talking, and when she came back out to check on them, Cardona had taken off with the victim. Cardona drove around with the victim in his truck for around 6 hours, before he finally agreed to bring her back. Police were on hand, waiting to take him into custody. Cardona is now facing charges of Kidnapping-Domestic Abuse, False Imprisonment, and Disorderly Conduct all with domestic abuse tags. During a court appearance Monday, a judge ordered a $10,000 cash bond for Cardona.
