The Two Rivers City Council will be holding their monthly meeting this evening in the Council Chambers in City Hall. At the 6:00 PM gathering, the Council will enter a closed session to discuss possible city assistance for unnamed economic development projects, and will continue to discuss items pertaining to the former Paragon Partners property. They will talk about possible Negotiations with Manitowoc County and prospective purchasers, as well as continuing the conversation with legal counsel on the foreclosure of the site and other related issues. While the legal counsel is on hand, they will also confer about eminent domain action for the acquisition of the downtown, riverfront property, which is currently owned by Fisher Scientific International LLC.
