
The wind tower manufacturing and heavy fabrication portion of Broadwind Energy here in Manitowoc is adding a third shift to its’ plant on the peninsula. Matt Boor, Director of Business Development tells SeehaferNews.com that they have been ramping up “thanks to healthy sales by our diligent sales team. We’re adding a third shift, as well as bolstering the A and B shifts that run during the day and night throughout the week.”
Boor explains that Broadwind would like to add 50 new employees for the local production process, for a wide variety of positions. Those positions include (but are not limited to) Quality Engineer, Material Handler, Night Shift Supervisors, Submerged Arc Welders, and welders of all feathers.
