The thieves in Sheboygan are targeting vehicles again. Sheboygan Police have reported that the north side of the city has been hit rather hard by a string of thefts from vehicles. As is the case in most cases like this, the cars that had things taken from them were not locked, leaving them vulnerable to opportunistic criminals. Police are indicating that most of the time, this kind of crime is usually committed by juveniles, opportunists, and those seeking to make money for addiction reasons. The easiest way to avoid being the next victim is to simply lock your car, and make sure no valuables are visible. Also, if you see someone acting suspicious, report it to the police.
