The parent of a study at Madison’s Lake View Elementary School is barred from school grounds and faces a felony charge of battering a school district employee. Forty-two-year-old Rhonald Shultz had visited the campus where his child attends class multiple times in the past but was apparently angered by a security change forcing him to sign in. His attorney blames the secretary who tried to stop Shultz. He made a Dane County Circuit Court appearance Thursday.
