It’s time to gather up your unused prescriptions, because Sheboygan County will take them off your hands next weekend.
The drug takeback event will be on Saturday, October 26th from 10 :00 AM to 1:00 PM at Howards Grove Village Hall, Oostburg High School, Generations in Plymouth, the Random Lake Fire Department and St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
Pills should be placed in a zip lock style baggie, no larger than quart sized, while creams and liquids should remain in their original containers. Controlled and non-controlled prescription and over-the-counter medications are all acceptable.
Unused and unwanted prescription drugs can pose a danger to children, carry the potential for abuse, and if improperly disposed of, can contaminate our natural resources.
