Lawyer From Wisconsin Shot To Death In Micronesia

Friends say a lawyer from Wisconsin was planning to return to the United States when she was shot to death outside her home on the island of Yap in Micronesia.  Rachelle Bergeron had been serving as acting attorney general while prosecuting criminals.  She had just returned home from a run with her dog when somebody fired three shots, hitting her in the leg and upper chest.  The Waukesha native had been living in Micronesia since 2015.  Her husband was inside their house baking brownies when he heard the shots fired.
