Manitowoc City Councilman Lee Kummer has indicated that he won’t be seeking re-election in April. Kummer, who has been the alderman in the 5th district since 2016, filed a notice of non-candidacy with the City Clerk’s office last Friday. Those residing in the 5th aldermanic district who are interested in running for the position need to take out nomination papers and file them with the clerk’s office by January 7th.
