Weekend Split: UW Men Fall 1 Spot In College Hockey Poll To 17th

The Wisconsin men’s hockey team dropped one position to 17th in this week’s poll.  The Badgers opened the regular season will a loss at Boston College Friday, then an 11-5 blow of Merrimack Saturday.  This week’s opponent – two-time defending national champion Minnesota-Duluth – dropped from number-one to number-three after splitting its home-ice series against U-Mass Lowell.  Denver is on top of the poll, with Minnesota State-Mankato second.
