The search continues for the individual responsible for and armed robbery turned deadly early yesterday morning in Neenah. Police have reported that the suspect entered the Short Branch Saloon on Harrison Street shortly after 12:15 AM, demanded money, then rattled off 4 or 5 shots, which struck a customer, ultimately killing the unnamed individual. The robber then fled the scene before police could arrive. The name of the victim will be released sometime today, according to Neenah Police Chief Aaron Olson. He went on to call the attack “senseless”, and said that his team is scrubbing through the security footage from the bar to try and get any clue as to who the suspect is. Anyone with any information should contact the Neenah Police Department at 920-886-6000.
