
The Neville Public Museum in Green Bay has been named the winner of the 2019 Museum Exhibit Award from the Wisconsin Historical Society for its 2018-2019 exhibition Delay of Game: Experiences of African American Football Players in Titletown. Delay of Game (August 7, 2018- March 25, 2019) focused on the experiences and challenges of African American Packers players throughout the franchise’s history. The exhibit embraced difficult history especially in Green Bay’s predominantly white community. This award category recognizes institutions with an annual operating budget exceeding $50,000. The award was officially presented to the museum at a ceremony at the museum at 10:00 this morning.
