Karl M. Hess
An Appleton man who’s been jailed in Manitowoc County under $1 million bail for a double-homicide has a jury trial scheduled in his case for next March.
35 year old Karl M. Hess is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for the September, 2018 murders of a father and daughter, Richard and Jocelyn Miller, at their Dale Street address.
The defense has withdrawn an earlier plea of not guilty by reason of mental disease at the request of Hess and, the defendant has pleaded Not Guilty to all counts. A pre-trial conference is set for February 10th at 11am, with the jury trial in Manitowoc County scheduled to begin on March 11th at 8:30am.
