
The theme of the night in Green Bay was “They don’t ask how, they ask howmany.” Mason Crosby’s 23-yard field goal with two seconds left gave the Green Bay Packers a 23-22 win over Detroit on Monday Night Football. Green Bay broke a four-game string of losses to their division rivals.
Aaron Rodgers connected on 24-of-39 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns and Jamal Williams rushed for 104 yards. The Packers benefited from a pair of controversial calls against Detroit in the closing minutes. The Green Bay defense gave up yards, but only one touchdown and forced the Lions to kick five field goals.
Green Bay’s five-and-one record is good for a one-game lead over the Vikings in the N-F-C North. The Packers host Oakland next Sunday.
