Felician Village will host a free caregiver class as part of its Caregiver College for the community, Effective Communication Strategies, on Tuesday, October 22, at 2 p.m. in the Village Hall at Felician Village, 1635 S. 21st Street, Manitowoc.
Communication is more than just talking and listening. As someone’s journey with dementia progresses their ability to use words is lost, therefore family and friends need to find new ways to connect. Explore strategies and learn how to decode messages through attitude, tone of voice, facial expressions & body language. Presented in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.
