The National Weather Service is now confirming two tornadoes Tuesday night in southern Wisconsin’s Jefferson County. An EF-1 tornado with winds of 100 miles per hour touched down near Sullivan. An EF-0 twister packing 80-mile-per-hour winds damaged homes, blew out windows and knocked down trees in Fort Atkinson. Survey teams also inspected damage in Wales and Belleville where downed trees caused a residential gas leak. The danger of minor to moderate flooding continues, along with a risk of flash floods.
