Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler is gearing up for the 2020 Ryder Cup and thousands of visitors next fall. The Ryder Cup team captains met with reporters Tuesday to discuss the international tournament coming to Wisconsin. U-S captain Steve Stricker of Madison said the last few Ryder Cups haven’t gone the way that we have liked, “but you know, for us it’s all about, for me anyways, it’s about moving forward.” European captain and Irishman Padraig Harrington sees Whistling Straits as natural course with little his opponent could change to the U-S team’s advantage. Stricker says the state is going to show up big time and we’re going to have the crowd on our side. The 2020 Ryder Cup is September 25th to September 27th.
