The season is over for the Milwaukee Brewers after a 4-3 loss to the Nationals in the N-L Wild Card game in Washington, D-C. Milwaukee had a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning before Juan Soto hit a three-run single that was misplayed by outfielder Trent Grisham. Brewers closer Josh Hader allowed the go-ahead hit to take the loss. Yasmani Grandal hit a two-run homer in the first inning and Eric Thames had a solo shot in the second to give Milwaukee an early lead. Starter Brandon Woodruff pitched four innings of one-run ball. The Nats advance to play the Dodgers in the N-L Division Series.
