The Lakeshore area finished the month of September more than 5-inches above normal for rainfall and we are starting October with a flash flood watch in effect. Weather Eye Meterologist, Nick Carlisle says we can expect heavy rain. “Looks like a flash flood watch this morning,” Carlisle told SeehaferNews.com. “That goes all the way until 10:00 AM tomorrow morning. We could see rainfall amounts between 2 and 4 inches across the listening area in the next 24 to 36 hours.”
We have also reached out to Doug Johnson, the Chief Operating Officer for Weatherology, for more information on the excessively wet September the Lakeshore has experienced.
