Reigning M-V-P Giannis Antetokounmpo does not want to discuss free agency next summer and a possible contract extension. The Greek Freak said during Bucks media day “I’m not gonna talk about it a lot this season, and I’m not gonna try to address it.” Twenty-four-year-old Antetokounmpo will be eligible to sign a five-year supermax extension that could be more than a quarter-billion dollars. Giannis told reporters the goal is to win a championship and he thinks it’s disrespectful towards his teammates talking about his free agency. He has made it clear that he wants to lead Milwaukee to its first N-B-A Finals since 1974. Bucks training camp begins today at the University of Wisconsin (Tuesday) and the team will host a free scrimmage Sunday at Fiserv Forum.
