There are a couple of meetings scheduled to take place in the Council Chambers in Two Rivers City Hall this evening. The Planning Commission will start the evening off at 5:30, and will be reviewing the proposed exterior of the Cobblestone Hotel. That meeting will then transform into a joint meeting with the City Council and the East Gateway Committee at 6:00 PM, and they will all hear a presentation from The Smith Group regarding the planning efforts for the East River Gateway. The Council will then be left to hold their own meeting, and will consider an agreement with the Wisconsin DNR to be awarded a vacant property in the 2000 block of Washington Street from the County.
