City of Manitowoc 2019 leaf pickup Parking Ban is scheduled to begin tomorrow. Leaves are scheduled to be picked up once a week on your street sweeping day from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The bulk of leaf pickup is expected to be October 7th through November 22nd weather permitting.
Brush and garden waste will NOT be picked up during the leaf collection. Those items should be brought to the Manitowoc County Compost sites. If your street has a parking lane, leaves should be placed in the parking lane of the street in front of your residence the evening before your street sweeping day. No leaves will be removed from the grassy area between the sidewalk and the curb. If there is no parking lane on your street, there is no change, and leaves should continue to be placed on the terrace.
