Madison Police Investigating Shootings

Madison police have been busy investigating shootings the this weekend that carried over to the start of the new week. Madison police say a 19 year-old man from nearby Sun Prairie was shot and killed on the north side Saturday. Police say the victim was targeted in that shooting. Three people were wounded by gunshots in Fitchburg Sunday. Two victims were there when Fitchburg officers arrived. A third victim took themselves to the emergency room. This (Monday) morning Madison police found a shot-up vehicle near an elementary school, and several shell casings on the street.
