Victorian song and dance will be the topic for the Manitowoc County Historical Society SPARK! program on October 9 from 10:45 am to 12:15 pm. SPARK! is a free monthly program for individuals living with early-to-mid stage memory loss, their care partners, and family members. Participants are engaged in lively conversations, exhibit exploration, historic artifacts, and multi-sensory activities. As part of the program on October 9, guests will sing and follow along with to Victorian tunes and dancing.
SPARK! programs are held monthly at the Manitowoc County Historical Society on the second Wednesday of each month at 11 am. Participants may arrive at 10:45 am for coffee and conversation before the program begins. Participants and their families are also welcome to stay after to tour the museum.
Thanks to the generosity of Bader Philanthropies, Inc and the Felician Village, these programs are available free of charge at the Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc.
