Officials in Chippewa County are looking for volunteers this weekend to help clean up the damage done by an EF-3 tornado. The sheriff’s officials say anyone 18 or older who wants to help should meet at the Wheaton Fire Station at 9 A-M Saturday and Sunday to receive marching orders. The twister packing 150 mile-an-hour winds damaged nearly 30 buildings and downed trees and power lines Tuesday. Emergency management says it was the strongest September tornado in Wisconsin since 2002.
