De Pere won the Boys Large School Division of the Jim Bremser Cross Country Invitational at Mishicot yesterday. Kiel was 4th & Two Rivers 6th. Noah Watson of Kiel was the top local finisher at #7. De Pere also wins the Girls event followed by Two Rivers & Kiel in 2nd and third place, respectively. Anna Gallagher of the TR-Raiders was meet medalist in a time of 19 minutes, 19.48 seconds. Teammates Mikaela Helling & Makenzie Greenwood finished 5th & 8th in that order.
In the Small School division: the Manitowoc Lutheran boys posted a runnerup finish, led by Nolan Winter in 4th place while Josh Zander of the Lancers came in 5th. Kory Wiegert of Mishicot was the ‘2nd overall race finisher. The Lutheran High Boys are currently ranked 7th in the state rankings. The Lancer Girls squad took 7th paced by #1 runner, Brooklyn Luebke, who was also 2nd overall in the Large & small school races combined with a time of 19:48.
