
A 35-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges as a result of the Crash in the Sheboygan County Town of Mosel Tuesday night. According to police reports, Deangelo Ferand Smith was driving at a high rate of speed while intoxicated on I-43 when he struck a vehicle carrying a man, a woman, and an infant. The 36-year-old driver of the struck vehicle suffered a sore back and neck, a bloody lip and a scraped arm, while his 22-year-old female passenger sustained several spinal fractures, which required surgery, a split tongue, which required 15 stitches, an injured foot, and a cut above her eye. The woman was flown to HSHS St. Nicholas hospital for treatment, while the driver and infant, whose condition was not in the complaint, were transported to the same hospital as well. Smith suffered minor injuries and is facing charges of Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle, and Reckless Driving, Causing Great Bodily Harm.
