The Manitowoc Police took a 34-year-old man into custody yesterday afternoon, after finding drugs in his living quarters. Authorities were informed that the man was wanted on a felony warrant, and was living in the basement of a residence in the 1300 block of N 10th Street. When the officers arrived on the scene, a woman answered the door to the apartment. She let the officers in, but when the wanted man saw the police he locked himself in his room. After some negotiation, the man came out and was placed in handcuffs. Officers then found a glass smoking device, other drug paraphernalia, and drugs, including fentanyl. The man was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Possessing Drug Paraphernalia, Possession a Narcotic, Schedule 1 or 2, and for being a drug repeater.
