Brown County 4-H is inviting the public to an Open House at the STEM Innovation Center on the UW-Green Bay Campus. The event will run from 12pm until 4pm on Saturday, October 5th, where families will have the opportunity to discover more about local clubs and 4-H projects. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with current members, volunteer leaders, and educators from the 4-H program. There will be a number of hands-on activities available for anyone attending, with STEM activities being led by the 4-H Tech Changemakers, a group of 4-H members working with Microsoft to promote STEM education in Brown County.
4-H Youth Development is the nation’s largest youth development and empowerment organization. 4-H members learn life skills, foster a sense of generosity and belonging in their communities, and exhibit independence and mastery while discovering their own interests. Brown County 4-H’ers participate in a wide range of activities, including archery, dog training, photography, and animal science.
