Update on Fatal Monday Brown County Crash

A De Pere Area man was killed and a Kiel male injured as the result of a crash yesterday in Brown County. The Sheriffs Department says Eric Anderson died at the scene while James Schott from the Kiel area remains hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries Authorities say that Schott was driving a pickup eastbound on County Highway G just Past Scray’ s Hill Road in front of Ledgeview Golf Course when he struck the back of a low-boy trailer that was stopped on the side of the road to off-load a bulldozer. The impact caused Schott’ s unit to flip over and he was ejected onto the roadway while Anderson was struck and killed. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
