The Sheboygan Falls Common Council has approved the development of a 71 unit apartment complex on the former site of the Stern Tannery. The structure, which will be called Tannery Falls, will contain a mix of studio apartments as well as one and two bedroom units. A Tax Incremental District was created for the project, but covers a wide enough area the proposed river-walk, which would allow public access to the Sheboygan River, would also be covered. The City of Sheboygan Falls has been proactively planning for an urban residential development on this property for several years. Cardinal Capital is the developer for this project.
