Governor Tony Evers has announced that he will be visiting eight craft breweries throughout the state along with Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Deputy Secretary Tricia Braun, and other state, county, city and community officials. This effort is in conjunction with Wisconsin Craft Brewery Day on Thursday, September 26th. Among the list of breweries on the list is Titletown Brewing Company in Green Bay.
Brewing is a staple industry in Wisconsin with a long and rich history, creating increased economic activity across the state. While the state is home to a number of large-scale breweries, in recent years, it has become a leader in craft beer production and consumption. Wisconsin had 160 craft breweries in 2017, and these businesses generated more than $2.25 billion in total economic impact.
