A tragedy upon a tragedy. In an update to the fatal crash in Sheboygan County Monday afternoon, it was recently reported that 77-year-old Dennis Teetzen was on his way to a memorial for his granddaughter when he crashed into 35-year-old Plymouth Police Officer Lindsay Baumhardt at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Road N. Teetzen’s granddaughter had died by suicide over the weekend. Teetzen died from his injuries, and Baumhardt was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The Wisconsin State Patrol is continuing to investigate.
