The Kenosha Unified School District has reconsidered its decision about a remembrance for a murdered high school student. Cheerleaders at Kenosha Bradford High School wanted to honor Kaylie Juga at Friday’s football game after the 15-year-old was shot to death in her home last May. She had been a cheerleader and her friends wanted to perform a routine in her honor, bring her picture on the field and have a moment of silence. The backlash to the district’s refusal to allow that was so strong, leaders reversed the decision at a school board meeting.
