Clayton School District Mourns Two Students Killed in Semi Collision

A small school district in northwest Wisconsin is mourning the loss of two students killed in a crash.  The Polk County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Michael Magnuson of Clayton was driving on U-S Highway 63 in Clear Lake Monday when his car hit the side of a semi-trailer.  Magnuson’s vehicle rolled into the ditch and ended upside down.  He and his passenger, 16-year-old Grace Schradle, both died at the scene.  Magnuson and Schradle were juniors at Clayton High School.  The district is offering support to students and staff.
