Picnic for Patriots to be Held in De Pere this Weekend

De Pere’s Voyageur Park will be playing host to the Picnic for Patriots this weekend. This family-friendly event brings together members of the community to raise funds that will further the organization’s mission to support veterans and their families. There will be live music, picnic-style food, raffle items, games and activities for all ages as well as care package and card preparation. The Picnic will run from Noon to 6:00 PM on Saturday, and attendees will be invited to prepare care packages and letters that will be sent to the troops overseas. 4th H.O.O.A.H (Helping Out Our American Heroes) WI will also cover the cost of shipping for families who wish to send a personal package to a loved one.
