Former Vice President of Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Convicted of Child Sexual Assault

A former vice president of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce board has been found guilty of child sexual assault. 62 year old Steven Steinpreis of Plymouth was convicted after prosecutors say he assaulted and exposed himself to a young family member over the course of five years. Steinpreis was found guilty over the weekend, and could spend up to 40 years in prison or the crime. Steinpreis was not only a prominent member of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Board, he also owned a bowling pro shop in Elkhart Lake, and ran the Sheboygan County Bowling Association for a quarter of a century. As of last word, his sentencing hearing has not been set.
