Green Bay’s defense was rock-solid in a season-opening 10-3 win against the Bears Thursday night. The Packer offense did just enough to claim the victory. The only touchdown of the game came in the second period when Aaron Rodgers found tight end Jimmy Graham with a scoring pass. Both quarterbacks were sacked five times and neither offense could muster 50 yards on the ground. Mason Crosby’s 39-yard field goal in the fourth period completed the scoring. Chicago never scored again after a first-period field goal.
