The Two Rivers Downtown Holiday Lighting and Decoration Committee is still in need of funds to be able to get the downtown area ready for the holiday season. Their Phase 1 fundraising goal is $30,000, which will go toward decorating the single-headed light poles for the entire length of downtown Washington Street, from the bridge to 22nd Street, with each pole costing around $500 to decorate. As of Tuesday, they have raised a little over $24,000 of that goal, and are asking the public to chip in to help make Two Rivers a little more festive.
